Respite Care
At Edgemont View, we also provide respite care for those caregivers who need a short break, as we know caregivers needs are equally important as the person you are looking after. If you chose Edgemont View for respite care, it will allow you to take some time to care for yourself knowing that your loved one are in safe hands.

Funding
If you are privately funded, you may apply directly for a place. If you need financial assistance, an application will need to be made to the Local Authority who will carry out an assessment of need, including assessing financial means, to determine your level of entitlement as a contribution toward the costs of accommodation and care. Edgemont View carries out a comprehensive pre-admission assessment on each prospective resident, to make sure that you are content with our ability to meet your needs and requirements.

Fees, unless agreed otherwise – include accommodation, full board, in-house laundry service of clothes and the provision of care. Both you and your relatives need to be aware of the costs associated with living in a nursing home and how the fees are to be paid.
